FRUTA CRISTALIZADA: Es una composición de azúcar y fruta cocidos, suficientemente bien como para que se conserve en buen estado, sin esterilización adicional, la fruta puede ser entera o en pedazos. Las frutas que se usan son:  albaricoque, Durazno, melocoton, higo, pera, cereza, ciruela, piña mandarina, naranja, limón.

CRYSTALLIZED FRUIT:  Whole fruit, small pieces of fruit, or pieces of peel, are placed in heated sugar syrup. Which absorbs de moisture from within the fruit and eventually preserves it. The process of preservation  can take several day or months depending of the size of the fruit. Some of the fruits are: date, cherries, pineapple, lemon, orange, fig.
