ESPARRAGO:  Yema o brote de tallo recto y cabezuela comestible alargada, de color verde o blanco morado, que produce la raíz de la esparraguera .

ASPARAGUS:  A tall plant of the lily family with fine feathery foliage, cultivated for its edible shoots.  The tender young shoots of the asparagus plant, eaten as a vegetable.
